Dear Swartz Creek Community & Business Owners,

The Swartz Creek Community Schools will be participating in the ABC 12 School Spirit Contest. Currently, Flint Central and North Branch High Schools are the co-champions. The SCHS Key Club is organizing the contest in our community, and would like to bring the Spirit Cup Trophy to Swartz Creek.   So, start collecting cans of food now!

Key Club will be collecting cans from local businesses and all the Swartz Creek Schools, so tell family and friends to donate.   All of the donations collected will stay within the local community by supporting the Swartz Creek Food Bank.  We would like to have a jar for monetary donations and a box for donations of  non-perishable food items in each of our local businesses. Key Club members will be responsible for collecting these donations at least once a week.

The deadline for donations will be March 23, 2010.  ABC 12's School Spirit Squad, with Marc Jacobson, will be in the Swartz Creek High School gymnasium on Friday, March 26th for the 6:00 AM morning news. Please help the Key Club make this a winning contest for our school, and for our community.
